Federal permitting experience from the inside
Anna brings direct experience from the Bureau of Land Management’s Carlsbad Field Office in Southeast New Mexico, one of the country’s most active areas for federal oil and gas development.
As a Realty Specialist, she managed federal rights-of-way for energy and infrastructure projects, including pipelines, roads, and transmission lines. Her work included reviewing applications, coordinating interdisciplinary resource review, communicating with applicants, and moving projects through the BLM approval process.
She also prepared NEPA Environmental Assessments and worked with natural-resource specialists as part of the environmental review process.
Her experience provides a practical understanding of what happens after an application reaches the agency — what information reviewers need, where projects can slow down, and how the different parts of the permitting process fit together.
Experience across energy, law, and public agencies
Before establishing Annenberg Energy Permits, Anna’s career included work in federal land management, international law, public institutions, and private industry.
Her legal background and experience working across regulatory and commercial environments bring an analytical, organized approach to complex permitting assignments.
